Al Cameron
Founder and Managing Partner
Al co-founded Rox Capital and is a Managing Partner of the firm. He oversees investment strategy and portfolio operations across the Rox Capital platform.
Previously, Al founded, acquired, and exited multiple businesses across the security, medical, industrial, and restaurant industries. He also held leadership roles in business development within the acute care medical sector.
Al earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mark Sparrow
Founder and Managing Partner
Mark co-founded Rox Capital and is a Managing Partner of the firm. He leads Rox Capital’s investment strategy and portfolio operations.
Previously, Mark held senior leadership roles in distribution and industrial companies, where he focused on operational improvement, growth execution, and strategic leadership.
Mark earned both his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Texas Tech University.
Matt Nader
Vice President
Matt Nader is a Vice President at Rox Capital, where he is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, executing acquisitions, and supporting portfolio company growth.
Prior to joining Rox Capital, Matt spent more than 18 years with Abbott and St. Jude Medical, where he led Cardiac Rhythm Management sales throughout Central Texas. He built a reputation for developing strategic customer relationships, driving commercial growth, and partnering with physicians and healthcare leaders to deliver innovative solutions.
Matt earned his Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business and his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
Doug Edasi
Principal
Douglas is a Principal at Rox Capital, where he focuses on driving value creation across the firm’s portfolio and supporting acquisition efforts.
Prior to joining Rox Capital, Douglas held leadership roles within private equity-backed businesses, including serving as Chief Operating Officer of an automation company. His experience spans operational execution, manufacturing, and process improvement, with a focus on scaling businesses and enhancing performance.
Douglas holds an Executive MBA from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Economics from Lehigh University.
Devin Pulton
Senior Associate
Devin is a Senior Associate at Rox Capital, responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio company operations.
Prior to joining Rox Capital, Devin worked in the fiberglass boat and yacht manufacturing industry, gaining expertise in financial analysis, supply chains, and ERP systems. He is an SAP ERP Certified Business Associate.
Devin earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA from the University of Tampa.
Jess Berglund
Associate
Jess is an Associate at Rox Capital, focusing on sourcing and evaluating acquisitions for the portfolio.
Previously, he held roles in real estate development, brokerage, and legal practice, providing a broad foundation in deal execution and strategic evaluation.
Jess earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska, as well as an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
